Review:

Christmas Stars is the delightful story of a little girl named Catherine, who finds joy in the Christmas season by feeding two hungry deer.

Catherine is, for the first time, old enough to help her father decorate outside. As they are putting Christmas lights on the trees, Catherine spots the deer. When her father tells her about the plight of animals in the hard winters, Catherine asks if they may feed them.

This story is a shining example of how to foster giving and caring in small children. What a wonderful read for parents to share with their little ones! It is extremely well-written and has an adorable main character.

Christmas Stars also includes fun activities and beautiful illustrations. Rita Y. Toews (author) and Jennifer Macaire (illustrator) team up to create a very special book that the entire family will enjoy.

If you’re looking for a nice, thought-out story for your child, this one is highly recommended, and is a must for your family’s library. A wonderful Christmas treasure!
