Spring has sprung!  As sure as April showers bring May flowers, April also brings us two holidays: Easter and Passover.  We've compiled a list of titles that will be sure to help make both celebrations even more festive for you and your families.  As always, be sure to let us know if we've missed one of your favorites!

  • Resurrection:  A Bishop Rethinks The Meaning Of Easter by John Shelby Spong

    Using approaches from the Hebrew interpretive tradition to discern the actual events surrounging Jesus' death, Bishop Spong questions the hitorical validity of literal narrative concerned the Ressurection. He asserts that the resurrection story was born in an experience that opened the disciples' eyes to the reality of God and the meaning of Jesus of Nazareth. Spong traces the Christian origins of anti-Semitism to the Church's fabrication of the ultimate Jewish scapegoat, Judas Iscariot.
